For all intents and purposes equivalent to the Commons version of this image, which is commons:File:Flat.svg. Ineligible for CSD F8 bc they are different renderings with different resolution and crops. Magog the Ogre (t • c) 00:37, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fails WP:NFCC#8: you don't need a photo of the actor and actress in order to tell that they appear in the music video. Stefan2 (talk) 12:40, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not discussed critically. Violates WP:NFCC#3b, WP:NFCC#8 and WP:NFCC#10c. Stefan2 (talk) 14:00, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Can't see it does violate WP:NFCC#3b. WP:NFCC#8 - image of an architectural feature mentioned in the article along with the player's playing style which this image illustates and adds to understanding. WP:NFCC#10c - rationale supplied.--Egghead06 (talk) 15:07, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- It violates WP:NFCC#3b because it has about 100 times too many pixels. You would have to delete 99% of the pixels in order to fix the WP:NFCC#3b violation.
- I can't find any information about the image in the section where it is used, so the image is obviously not used to increase the understanding of the architectural display. Anyway, it is an article about a person, not about the image on the wall. --Stefan2 (talk) 15:20, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Can't see anywhere in WP:NFCC#3b which stipulates the number of pixels to be used or anything which defines the numbers (99%?) which would have to be deleted. Where is this figure mentioned?
- Yes it is about a person - one who has a stand named after him which this image illustrates. He also had a playing style which this image also demonstates. Architectural 'display' is not my wording?--Egghead06 (talk) 15:31, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. The display is not discussed at all in the article. File:TheSirTrevorBrooking Stand.JPG serves as a perfectly fine illustration for the stand. As for his playing style, it can be replaced by a free image of him playing football. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 23:02, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Listing per Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2012 September 17. I abstain. King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 22:56, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete See my comments at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2012 September 16. File is not a mugshot. File is cropped from this image viewable in Google's hosted LIFE magazine archives, copyright TIME Inc. Also seen here with LIFE mark on it. Speedy delete.-Kiwipat (talk) 05:09, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per my comments in the same DRV. An image of a living person is rarely acceptable under fair use (NFCC#1), the sourcing is problematical and is a screenshot of as TIME image (breaching NFCC#2) as well as being simply decorative so failing NFCC#8. Spartaz Humbug! 14:40, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete This is a photo of a person who is still alive, so it is replaceable (see WP:NFCC#1 and WP:NFC#UUI §1). I didn't notice this when I commented at WP:DRV, but that page smells WP:NFCC#2 violation. I don't see why WP:NFCC#8 is an issue: non-free photos are often acceptable for deceased people, and the WP:NFCC#8 should be the same in that situation. --Stefan2 (talk) 12:24, 26 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- We aren't supposed to use unfree images unless they add something that cannot be explained in words. How does this image do that? Its clearly decorative and does not add to the readers understanding of the subject. Spartaz Humbug! 17:47, 26 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I would be very greatly surprised if LIFE/TIME Inc. owned the copyright to this photo. Might I suggest that drug lords do not just invite the media to their family reunions? The caption is telling, too - neither the photographer nor the date was mentioned - likely because the magazine doesn't know who took this photo either. Also, I'm not quite sure how this photo is replaceable. Can someone suggest exactly how one could possibly take a new photo of a drug lord whose whereabouts is presumably unknown? T. Canens (talk) 08:29, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- That was exactly the point I was trying to make. I highly doubt that the magazine owns the copyright for this photo. Enedina is a high-ranking drug trafficker and the photo is not replaceable. ComputerJA (talk) 23:02, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Certainly not replaceable--person is in hiding. Almost certainly not a #2 violation as discussed above. And an image of the subject of an article is considered helpful to any article (just as album covers are to albums). We don't know who has the copyright on this picture, but is almost certainly isn't LIFE/TIME. Hobit (talk) 15:24, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
