This photograph by Matt Jamie was commissioned by me as producer of the play The Pendulum and I thought I owned the rights to it. However, Matt never gave up his rights over the photograph, so anything I have ticked/signed to the contrary is irrelevant and he wants it withdrawn from here. This image is of a poster designed by Andy Cooke, using a photo by Matt Jamie, both commissioned by me as producer of The Pendulum. However, I have discovered that NEITHER gave up their electronic rights over the image and BOTH want it removed. Keep Because this is an article about a film genre, this illustrates the Girls with guns article in a way that a non-film, non-promotional photo could not. Delete. The use of the image in the infobox Moon Lee is definitely a violation of WP:NFCC#1 as she is a living person; I'm removed that rationale from the image description page and the image from that article. As for its use at Girls with guns, I fail to see how this picture, with a caption saying nothing but "Moon Lee" "would significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding" as required by WP:NFCC#8. Note also that the image's tag says it is to be used "for critical commentary and discussion of the film and its contents", and it's being used in an article on the genre in general, not the specific film the photo is from (if this is in fact a screenshot from a film, which I doubt; it looks more like a promotional photo to me). +An gr 13:51, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
