Keep. Clearly meets WP:AUTHOR. Best-selling technical author widely cited in the cinematography industry and in other books written on filmmaking and cinematography. Writes textbooks used in cinematography college courses. He worked with Warner Bros. for over 40 years and was the technical go-to guy for professional cinematographers. He wrote numerous articles for American Cinematographer and Film World, as well as served as a contributing editor for International Photographer. His "Cowboy Cookbook" is considered by the U.S. State Department as a significant representation of historical Western Americana. He has also produced and directed several documentary films.
