A woefully undersoured BLP that still reports the subject as being a "high school entrepreneur", despite being a 26, nearly 27, year old person. Her main claim to notability is being a "White House Champion of Change" as a teenager, along with several other teenagers as well as a former New York City Youth Poet Laureate, also as a teen.[1]. (She mentions only the second of these achievements on her personal Carrd[2]) The actual sources in the article aren't great. Neither of these are enough for WP:ANYBIO. As an adult, she seems to be working as a writer, but I don't see enough 3rd party coverage of her works for WP:NARTIST/WP:NCREATIVE. So that leaves GNG. The sources in the article aren't good for that: we have a WP:HUFFPOCON piece[3], a video by the White House announcing the award and showing speeches from Lin and the other kids[4] (not independent), a one line mention in [5], an interview [6] that contains some 3rd party coverage of her from when she was 17 and talking about her future in computer programming (again, she became a writer), and an unarchived link from DCW50 talking about the 2017 award. Looking outside the article, and I can find a couple more interviews from when she got the Champion of Change, a few more one-line mentions, but nothing to build a complete (or even "okay") quality BLP from GreenLipstickLesbian💌🦋 03:57, 9 September 2025 (UTC)

- Delete. I don't see anything that meets GNG here. Also, WP:BLP1E would suggest that, if she's only really known for being honoured at the White House, that's not enough to make her notable. Dionysodorus (talk) 07:39, 9 September 2025 (UTC)

- Delete: The name is too common to find anything current. I'm sure this was created when she was nominated, but the White House honor isn't quite enough. Without much sourcing since, I don't see this passing notability. We could also use this as an example of the 10 year test for BLP; sure the person looks important now, but 10 years later and nothing much has happened Oaktree b (talk) 14:50, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
- Delete: As noted above, the subject's name is common so it's difficult to search for sources and I'm not sure where her career/education has gone since 2016/2017. I did find [7] in the New York Daily News about the subject being named NYC youth poet laureate in 2016. But that's not enough to meet WP:GNG. Nnev66 (talk) 15:39, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- Delete GreenLipstickLesbian's thorough review is really informative through the various notability guidelines, and at the end, when we do not even have enough for WP:GNG, we are left with only one option, deletion. Iljhgtn (talk) 04:52, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
