The result was Userified in lieu of deletion. May be moved back when sourced, but placing the identical article in mainspace would be subject to G4 Jclemens (talk) 01:48, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is basically a non-notable essay. It was tagged for speedy deletion twice (once by me and another time by another editor), and both times the article creator removed the tag (s/he even stated a source was added, but it never was). Then, the article appeared to have a copyright issue, so a user prodded it as such, but the creator removed that tag as well with neither reason nor improvement to the article. - Note The article creator User:Ghouse-umuc posted this on the talk page in response to the AfD: "I am the author of this Wiki page. I was instructed to create it per an instructors request for an assignment. I had no intention to plagiarize any piece. I did add some text in quotes that came from another site. I simply added a “Source: “ to the bottom that referred to the link. Everything in the paragraph now is my interpretation to the definition of Network Interoperability. Also, this was my first post to Wiki, I am not sure I got off to a good start in terms of deleting the comments. My sole intention for this Wiki page is to capture a fundamental definition for the term Network Interoperability. I am willing to append more thoughtful and thorough work to this. Please advise…" --SpacemanSpiffCalvin‡Hobbes 02:12, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- KEEP - This is a relevant article providing valuable added information to Wikipedia. Please stop the overzealous policing and deletion of Wikipedia articles. Furthermore, this meets each of Wikipedia's Five Pillars which explicitly states they are the only five rules, rendering all other arguments irrelevant.Aliveatoms (talk) 01:02, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Aliveatoms (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) has made the identical argument on multiple AfD discussions within a short timespan. —C.Fred (talk) 01:20, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete and userfy. The article's creator has explicitly said that this is their interpretation WP:NOR. Give them time to get the article sourced, but not on mainspace. -SpacemanSpiffCalvin‡Hobbes 01:13, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete with userfication. As noted by SpacemanSpiff, this article is not ready for prime time. This topic may be already covered by other articles, as well. —C.Fred (talk) 01:25, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
