WP:GNG. Article was created in 2007 and contains one external reference, a library maintained by the creator of the article. I can find no other mentions of this concept on the web, and it doesn't sound like any other design pattern I can think of, except maybe a bad explanation of dependency injection, which already has a much higher quality article.
