The result was keep. Editors participating in AFD discussions should know that we rely on reliable sources to demonstrate notability not our own impressions about who or what should be considered notable based on personal impressions after reading an article. Highly resume-like article of questionable notability and created by a now-indeffed COI sock. Amigao (talk) 00:05, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - Wikipedia:Notability (people) Something odd about both the author, who is now a blocked sock, and the various careers of the subject. How many successful people become notable for hopping from one career to another? First is was a president of a travel agency. Then it was Walgreens pharmacy chain. And he allegedly wrote books. Assuming this is all factual, he comes across as non-notabilite. — Maile (talk) 04:44, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Keep per 4meter4 and some of the sources already in the article, esp NYT. "How many successful people become notable for hopping from one career to another?" - quite a few. It being "odd" is not a deletion reason. PARAKANYAA (talk) 12:52, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep – The subject meets WP:GNG through coverage in reliable independent sources including The New York Times, WSJ, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. Notability is clear as a founder and executive whose companies were acquired by major corporations. COI and tone issues can be addressed through normal editing.
