The result was Keep. Being shortlisted for the Wooden Award is notable enough, and has been named to the All Big Ten second team. Zagalejo puts it nicely. Malinaccier (talk) 00:12, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep - does not fail, because competes at the highest level of amateur competition. He's a noteworthy college player. matt91486 (talk) 05:52, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete without prejudice towards re-creation if he becomes notable in the future. There is no consensus that college basketball players inherently meet WP:ATHLETE. Location (talk) 02:04, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep He's been a Big Ten Player of the Week [1], and a member of the All Big Ten second team [2]. He's also on the shortlist for the 2010 Wooden Award [3]. That's notable enough for me. College basketball players aren't inherently notable, but this guy is a major contributor for a big name school, not some benchwarmer at Quinnipiac. :) Zagalejo^^^ 07:13, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I probably should have elaborated when I said noteworthy, but Zagalejo has nicely. He's a prominent college basketball player who will continue to generate significant media attention. matt91486 (talk) 03:48, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
