[edit]Subject to common sense and with a number of exceptions, most images wholly generated by artificial intelligence should not be used in Wikipedia articles. Exceptions include articles where AI generation or a specific AI-generated image is the subject.[1] AI-generated imagery should not be used to depict BLP subjects.[2] AI upscaling might be an appropriate use of AI, depending on context.

[edit]AI text used in an about self fashion is generally exempt.
