Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -Zeus-u|c 15:58, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion
[edit]Hi there Yutsi! Thanks for your help in new page patrolling, but when marking a page for deletion, please be sure to provide a reason. If you're using the {{delete}} template as you are now, place the reason in a new parameter, like this: {{delete|<reason to delete>}}
. But it would be far better to memorise some of the actually criteria for speedy deletion, and then use the standard templates for each criterion. Also be sure to warn the article creator of the tagging. If you need any help, please feel free to ask me :). Best, - Kingpin13 (talk) 17:19, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion contested: Wabash High School
[edit]Hello Yutsi, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Wabash High School, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 17:50, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- High schools are almost always considered to be notable, so they should never be tagged under A7. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 23:21, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
Tagging of Charlie Bowie
[edit]I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Charlie Bowie. I do not think that Charlie Bowie fits any of the speedy deletion criteria because the article is not about a real person; it is about a fictional character. I request that you consider not re-tagging Charlie Bowie for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page. You are, of course, free to tag the article with {{prod}} or nominate it at WP:AFD. Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 22:48, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Speedy Deletion of Richard Charles Adams
[edit]I have contested the Speedy Deletion of my page Richard Charles Adams, although it previously was vandalism i have now made appropriate changes so that it is no longer vandalism and contains no fictitious information that is not marked. Now this page marks the event that occurred, and could only be beneficial to the Wikipedia community. I would like to be informed if my page will be deleted or not, because I feel the page now isn't vandalism. I would like to hear a response from you soon. Signing talk page comments
[edit] Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Jrcla2 (talk) 21:43, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

[edit]If I understand rightly, you nominated this page for speedy deletion and then decided that it wasn't appropriate. You're always allowed to remove a speedy deletion tag that you've placed if you decide that it shouldn't be there. Nyttend (talk) 01:22, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
I have removed the speedy tag from this article, since I believe there is enough of a claim to notability there. I would urge you to look carefully at an article before nominating it for deletion--this article made claims about the non-profit legal organization she works for, the issue of the "keyboard dilemma," the importance of her work in the courtroom, and her importance to forensic research: every single one of those claims should disallow a speedy deletion nomination. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 01:53, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
Altered speedy deletion rationale: Ed Cernic Jr.
[edit]Hello Yutsi. I am just letting you know that I deleted Ed Cernic Jr., a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided, which doesn't fit the page in question. Thank you. The WordsmithCommunicate 03:46, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
Hi. I notice that you have edited this article in the past. An editor has nominated it for deletion here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/BrainPOP_(2nd_nomination)#BrainPOP Feel free to contribute to the AfD discussion. Best regards, -- Ssilvers (talk) 02:52, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

The article JTagger has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable software.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TNXMan 17:16, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Hilbert spectroscopy
[edit]
A tag has been placed on Hilbert spectroscopy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

- Well...more citations are generally always better. So one is better than none, but certainly not enough to declare it well-referenced. - Draeco (talk) 02:29, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
Inline citations
[edit]Please stop adding {{inline}} hatnotes to very short (one- to three-paragraph) articles without contentious material. This case is covered in the Wikipedia style guideline found at Wikipedia:Ref#General_reference:
If a source supports a significant amount of the material in an article, it may sometimes be acceptable to simply add the citation at the end. It serves as a general reference, not linked to any particular part of the article. This is more likely to be appropriate for relatively undeveloped articles or those covering a very simple or narrow topic.
This applies to all of the articles you've tagged that I've checked so far. Now it does go on to say that
Any material challenged or likely to be challenged requires an inline citation
However this would not seem to apply to any that I've checked. Please stop. Jeh (talk) 17:01, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

Now that we have a project and a solid pool of willing members I wanted to strike while the iron is hot and solicite help in doing a few things that I believe is a good next step in solidifiing the project. I have outlined a few suggestions where you can help with on the projects talk page. This includes but is not limited too updating Portal:United States, assessing the remaining US related articles that haven't been assessed, eliminating the Unrefernced BLP's and others. If you have other suggestions or are interested in doing other things feel free. I just wanted to offer a few suggestions were additional help is needed. Speedy deletion nomination of Econocrat
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Econocrat requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Zachlipton (talk) 17:42, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your help with the vital work of patrolling new pages. I noticed that you are not marking some of the pages you've reviewed as patrolled. Please do remember to click the 'mark this page as patrolled' link at the bottom of the new page if you have performed the standard patrolling tasks. Where appropriate, doing so saves time and work by informing fellow patrollers of your review of the page, so that they do not duplicate efforts. Thanks again for volunteering your time at the new pages patrol project. Kudpung (talk) 16:35, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your help with the vital work of patrolling new pages. I noticed that when you are tagging a page as Not English, you are not copying and pasting the required code on to the Pages for translation page. The instructions for this are on the Not English tag. Doing so saves time and work by fellow patrollers, so that they do not duplicate your efforts. Thanks again for volunteering your time, and please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the new pages patrol project.Kudpung (talk) 17:53, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Template:Refimprove IMDB
[edit]A tag has been placed on Template:Refimprove IMDB requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).
Thanks. Kudpung (talk) 17:37, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

The article ACOS has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Essay, Original research
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. aηsuмaη ༽Ϟ 14:09, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

Please be more careful when removing copyright violation templates from articles. On the talk page of Sindhi Ajrak and Topi Day, you asserted that the article's contents were not substantial copyright violations of [1], but in point of fact there was no content in the article that was not directly from that Web site. I have speedily deleted the article per CSD G12 as an unambiguous copyright infringement but I would love to see more encyclopedic coverage of this subject. The only other reference I can find to Sindhi Topi Day is a one-line mention on Sindh. Perhaps you and User:Faizanalivarya can collaborate on a new article. :) Happy editing! — madman 15:57, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
