Regarding The Departed
[edit]Per Template:Infobox film, only "the actors as they are listed in the billing block of the poster for the film's original theatrical release" are to be cited in the infobox. Only the main producers (not executive producers) are to be listed in the infobox. The film only has three main producers. See this link for a larger pic of the same poster.Crboyer (talk) 18:42, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
Infobox film
[edit]Please stop messing with the infoboxes on film-related articles. We have specific guidelines on how they should be written; see {{infobox film}} for instructions. You should also read through MOS:FILM if you're going to edit film-related articles. If you continue to disruptively edit film articles, you could end up blocked from editing. Please do not edit war to include Chris Pratt against guidelines, as you have done in Her (film). NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 23:17, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

[edit] Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Star vs. the Forces of Evil. Your edits have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Dcbanners (talk) 13:19, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Star vs. the Forces of Evil. Dcbanners (talk) 13:20, 17 February 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Foxcatcher, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Guy Boyd. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Cosmopolis (film), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. [edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Writers Guild of America Award for Television: Comedy Series, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Bobby Bowman and Joe Lawson. [edit] Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Fantastic Mr. Fox (film). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Notes in articles usually exist for good reasons. DonIago (talk) 16:49, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Skyfall
[edit]I have again reverted your edit to Skyfall, which is the third or fourth time you have incorrectly edited the poster list in the IB. As the note there says (the one you deleted last time) we list the actors that are shown in the poster block. That's it. No-one else, no matter how large their role, or how much of a fan you are. It's the people on the poster block only. See Template:Infobox film for further details. - SchroCat (talk) 07:26, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

- Think you have had enough warnings as seen above, regarding adding actors to infoboxes. In one word: stop. ☾Loriendrew☽ ☏(ring-ring) 09:25, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Selma (film). Stop changing the billing in the infobox to be different from the film's poster, which gives the official billing. You were blocked for this previously, and you will be blocked for it again but longer if you persist. Binksternet (talk) 21:20, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to The Lovely Bones (film) does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
- User contributions
- Recent changes
- Watchlists
- Revision differences
- IRC channels
- Related changes
- New pages list and
- Article editing history
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Eeekster (talk) 22:46, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
May 2015
[edit] Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Jackie Brown (film), you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 21:47, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
- Your edits on Good Will Hunting, since unexplained, are also disruptive. Please consider this a warning. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 03:31, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at The Great Wall (film). Sundayclose (talk) 01:00, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Fantastic Four (2015 film), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Sundayclose (talk) 01:59, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
What exactly is your problem?
[edit]Several editors have reached out to you to try to get a response from you about your problems edits of removing information from articles without an edit summary or a stated rationale. We have reached our limit. Please explain yourself here. If you do not respond here before your next edit, I will immediately make a vandalism report at an administrators' noticeboard and you almost certainly will be blocked from editing for a longer period than your first block, possibly even indefinitely. This has gone on long enough. Sundayclose (talk) 22:49, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
- Windycliff, is there anything in particular that you don't understand about Wikipedia's policies? If there is then please respond here and we'll do our best to assist you.--5 albert square (talk) 23:10, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
Block
[edit]
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Diannaa (talk) 21:05, 18 May 2015 (UTC)Hi Windcliff. I have blocked your account for a week. While many of your edits are fine, there's also many that are inexplicable. For example, here you remove content that I was able to source online here. Senator was indeed German distributor for that film. Here's another questionable edit: Diff of Steve Jobs (film). Why did you remove that supporting citation? Your edits are never accompanied by edit summaries, and you have in your four months on this wiki never made a talk page post or user talk page post. Wikipedia is the encyclopedia that anyone can edit, but it's also the encyclopedia that all of us edit together. The key to effective collaboration is communication. You need to start using edit summaries and article talk pages to explain what you are doing and why. Please take the time to learn more about how to edit Wikipedia more effectively, or next time your block will likely be indefinite. -- Diannaa (talk) 21:05, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
You're doing it again. Do you want an indefinite block?
[edit] This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Eastern Promises, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Sundayclose (talk) 18:40, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. (Replace the words "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking you should be unblocked. In that reason, you need to persuade an administrator that you will not continue to make the same mistakes you have made in the past, and that you will start to communicate with other editors. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and works by us all working together and cooperating, not by each of us going our own way and ignoring what other editors think.) The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 19:57, 30 May 2015 (UTC) Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
