How do i remove the A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view. Please discuss further on the talk page. (April 2017) (Learn how and when to remove this template message) Also how do i display wiki page on right hand side while on search engine

Thanks VCM17

Hi. The tag was placed there because the article does not seem to adhere to WP:NPOV, particularly: "He has always had to face strong opposition in elections but has won by remarkable majority. His strength is in concentrating on the development of his constituency. His victories are because of his dedicated efforts and work done under his constituency." Unless you can attribute this to a reliable source, the wording is not neutral, and thus the tag should not be removed until this is addressed.
As for your second question, that is up to Google...not Wikipedia or its editors. There is nothing that we can do about that as far as I know. Bennv3771 (talk) 13:27, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, i have news link can i give as reference. So article adhere to WP:NPOV Thanks VCM17

I suggest that you read Wikipedia's reliable source guideline and Wikipedia:Verifiability policy, and if you think this reference is reliable then add it in. A lot of the content in the article is currently unsourced, do please add in reliable references. The current phrasing may need to be reworded to be neutral though. If an experienced editor thinks the article no longer violates WP:NPOV after your changes, they'll remove the tag. Bennv3771 (talk) 13:58, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Also, you should disclose if you have a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest in editing N H ShivaShankar Reddy (e.g. if you are a friend of his). Bennv3771 (talk) 14:05, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in N H ShivaShankar Reddy, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Lead paragraph

[edit]

I've made this correction several times on your N H ShivaShankar Reddy article. The lead paragraph of an article (the sentence or paragraph that introduces the topic) goes before the first heading. In this case, this is particularly true, because the lead, which introduces Reddy as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, has nothing to do with his early life. Please do not place this paragraph under the first heading, but leave it as its own paragraph above the first heading. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:54, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Manual of style

[edit]

Wikipedia has a Manual of Style to define how articles should look. This manual covers such things as how to format headers, paragraph text, images, tables, etc. It has specific guidance for when bold text should be used (rarely, if ever, within an article, except to highlight the first mention of the article subject). Please do not continue to add bold text throughout the body of your article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:02, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Negative information

[edit]

@VCM17: I'm sorry if you don't like the fact that the Deccan Herald article reports that Reddy was denied the INC nomination in 1999, but in order to preserve neutrality, we must accept the bad with the good. Please provide a valid reason why this fact shouldn't be included in the article. (Personally, I think it shows extra determination on Reddy's part to have continued to seek office even after being denied by the major party.) File permission problem with File:NHS-INC-26-2017.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:NHS-INC-26-2017.png, which you've attributed to N H ShivaShankar Reddy. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:27, 28 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
