Ancient district categories

[edit]

Hi Thirdman, Thanks for all your work cleaning up after the government imposed new unitary authorities on us. I notice you've been taking pages out of Category:Richmondshire for locations that were there long before the former district council borrowed its name. They're still in Richmondshire defined as a locality, and the category page shows articles for places which have that heritage in common. I'd be saying the same about Category:Craven District but I don't know if you've got round to that one yet. That one probably needs renaming – I see there's a redirect from Craven (district) which makes more sense now that the local authority district has gone, but Craven, Richmondshire, and maybe others, have always existed. --Northernhenge (talk) 07:19, 10 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
