Tent Presbyterian Church (Fayette County, Pennsylvania), which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

The article has been assessed as Stub-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. It is commonplace for new articles to start out as stubs and then attain higher grades as they develop over time. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

Since you have made at least 10 edits over more than four days, you can now create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for creation if you prefer.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk. Once you have made at least 10 edits and had an account for at least four days, you will have the option to create articles yourself without posting a request to Articles for creation.

Thanks again, and happy editing!

ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:52, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

January 2026

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Tent Presbyterian Church when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Hi Zackmann08, thanks for the heads-up. I'll make sure to use the 'Show preview' button next time to avoid any unknown parameters before saving my contribution. I appreciate you fixing it. ThatOneTechNerd (talk) 17:30, 7 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your courtesy notice regarding the copyedit. I appreciate both your contributions and your feedback! ThatOneTechNerd (talk) 02:07, 13 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
No worries; happy to help! A super minor nitpick I forgot to mention: it might be helpful to link to or clarify the elder McClelland. But besides that, again, great work on this interesting read :). GoldRomean (talk) 02:23, 13 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Your "Madagascar" article edit

[edit]

@ThatOneTechNerd, I undid your revision of the "Madagascar" article because I had earlier placed a Guild of Copy Editors in Use notification at the top of it, as GOCE editors do when we're engaged in a requested copy edit of articles. The notification should help prevent exactly what happened in your case: that another editor comes along and makes an edit. It's really disruptive for us as we work on these requests.

Please wait till you no longer see the notification any more, then go ahead with any edits you'd like to make, including the one I undid. Augnablik (talk) 09:56, 26 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hey @Augnablik, I truly apologize for my edit that likely disrupted your copyediting workflow. Thank you for reverting it as necessary. ThatOneTechNerd (talk) 18:44, 26 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
