TGL Golf
Hi Tewapack,
I just noticed that the logo on the TGL Golf page is out of date - not sure anyone cares but I thought I would let you know since I see you have made several edits to that page,
Have a great day! Bdgrover (talk) 23:31, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
Gary Woodland PGA Tour Courage Award
I assume this award is for 2024 in retrospect, maybe just announced a little later than usual. Wouldn’t make sense for it to be for 2025 given the season has only started. Jimmymci234 (talk) 22:45, 26 February 2025 (UTC)
- Nothing I've seen puts a year on it. It isn't an annual award, so they could announce winners anytime. Tewapack (talk) 22:48, 26 February 2025 (UTC)
NE Amateur: citations for Notes section
On the New England Amateur I included citations to substantiate why a tournament was truncated (usually due to weather) or what happened in a playoff. But is it possible to move these citations from the table to the Notes section? I would prefer if they were not in the middle of the table any more. I would also like to note, these citations should exist in some form as they usually are not the same as the Winner citations in the Ref column.
Regards,

- Not quite sure what you are asking but you can have references inside the efn template used for notes. Tewapack (talk) 16:56, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
- I just noticed your edits; I guess you figured out what I was talking about. Thank you very much for your help!

Your revert on 2025 College Basketball Crown
Hello. You reverted the see also section I added on 2025 College Basketball Crown, leaving an edit summary indicating that the navbox already contains links to the other tournaments. I was aware of that, when I added the section. Nevertheless, roughly half of all readers access Wikipedia on mobile devices on which navboxes are not visible. It is reasonable to assume that we may soon find ourselves in a world in which mobile users will far outnumber other users. Considering how interrelated the CBC is to both the NCAA tournament and the NIT, a See also section with links to those tournaments would be useful to mobile users and prevent them from becoming frustrated. 2017 Masters Tournament numbers
Hello Tewapack, Please help me to understand why the numbers your restored are needed. Thanks Gab4gab (talk) 02:05, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
- From the first paragraph of the section "Each player is classified according to the first category by which he qualified, with other categories in which he qualified shown in parentheses." Tewapack (talk) 15:43, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
Hi Tewapack. I saw that you were interested in sports and was wondering if you'd be willing to collaborate on the Gene Hallman page at Talk:Gene_Hallman. This is about a sports marketing BLP known for making Birmingham, Alabama a hub for hosting sporting events. I have a disclosed COI, so am looking for an impartial editor to participate, per WP:COI. Let me know if you have a minute to chip in. Carriepcoleman (talk) 16:13, 2 April 2025 (UTC)

Thank You RE 4-24-2025 Edits On 2025 Masters page
Greetings Tewapack ....
Appreciate whatever edits you made to correct the McIlroy-Rose playoff part of the 2025 Masters page. May I ask exactly what you did to get Rose's info to display correctly under McIlroy's?
BTW -- As you might have seen from reading earlier edit versions of the page, I had replaced the CBS Sports link showing final earnings because it was not very well organized and contain "unnecessary junk". The ESPN link is vastly better, certainly much more organized and informative, and should be with us for quite a while. It would be helpful if a way could be found to educate editors about the ESPN PGA-LPGA-Champions-DP-etc schedule links, as well as the individual tournament links.
Just one more -- do you sometimes find yourself asking if Wiki-language, even as good as it is now, could be much better? Same goes for HTML.

- It was missing a "|-" between rows of the table. Tewapack (talk) 22:21, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
- THANX LOADS -- Just tested it "with and without". I'm wiser now. Fgf2007 (talk) 22:41, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
Golfers

2025 PGA Championship: ESPN Scores Earnings and FX Points Reference link
Greetings ....
With the 2025 PGA Championship now finished, I was going to add a reference of ESPN's special link showing final scores, earnings and FedX points alongside the MONEY ($) fields in the Final Round portion. Unknown to me, someone else had already posted that link as a reference for other purposes in another portion of the page. As a result, I got a CITE WARNING for the duplicate reference, so I aborted the edit.
The problem is that I need instruction on how to properly cite the already posted reference more than once. You had previously helped me with an issue on the 2025 Masters wiki-page, so I'm hopeful you have the right solution for this problem.
Thanx-A-Lotte Fgf2007 (talk) 03:08, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- Done. Use <ref name=scores/> for a source already named "scores". Tewapack (talk) 17:28, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

Jimmy Wright: Results in major championships table
I recently created a Results in major championships table for Jimmy Wright. I added his results for his performances in the Masters, U.S. Open, and British Open. On his page, however, it only states his result in the PGA Championship for 1969; he played in the event an addition nine times. I know you work a lot on these tables and was wondering if you knew what his results were the other times he played it.

Junior wins
I noticed you recently reverted my deletion of Nick Taylor's junior wins. For me, a junior event is only notable enough if there is a blue link (e.g. U.S. Junior Amateur) for it. Future pros usually win a lot of junior events so I am careful about including them. What is our policy?
Chief disambiguator (talk) 02:05, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- These are national and provincial level events. They are notable events even if they don't have articles yet. Tewapack (talk) 15:46, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
