July 2025

[edit]
Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, website, or role, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Cabayi (talk) 07:36, 18 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Hungryroot, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Requested username:

Request reason:

I understand that my previous edits were promotional in tone and that my username violated Wikipedia’s policies by appearing to represent a company rather than an individual. I am employed by Hungryroot and was attempting to improve the article about the company, but I now understand that Wikipedia is not a platform for promotion, and that articles must meet notability, neutrality, and verifiability standards.

I have reviewed and will adhere to the following policies: WP:NOTPROMO, WP:COI, WP:USERNAME, WP:GNG, and WP:NPOV.

If unblocked, I will change my username to **technology_2025**, and I will contribute constructively, focusing on neutral, well-sourced edits, and proposing changes on article talk pages if they concern subjects where I have a conflict of interest.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Decline reason:

According to ZeroGOT, this unblock request is 100% AI-generated. Given that you are blocked (not ChatGPT), we are interested in hearing from you. Unblock requests must reflect your own understanding of the block and your willingness to follow Wikipedia’s policies going forward. Because this request does not demonstrate that you understand why you were blocked or how you plan to change your editing behavior, the request is declined. You are welcome to submit a new request written in your own words. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 17:14, 29 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Significa liberdade,
I appreciate your review and understand why you've denied my request to be unblocked.
I am, in fact, a human (not AI) and I can see how the article came off as promotional, which wasn’t my intention. I was too focused on trying to highlight the company’s positive traits without realizing that it crossed the line for tone and neutrality. I also didn’t pay close enough attention to the kind of sources Wikipedia expects where many of mine weren’t independent or strong enough.
If unblocked, I’ll go back to the draft and rewrite it to be more neutral and factual, and use better third-party sources that actually support notability and remove any sources that do not.
Appreciate your time and re-consideration to unblock so I can make these edits accordingly. Thank you! Technology 2025 (talk) 17:37, 29 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
