Reliable Source?
[edit]What's a more reliable source than a citation from the organization that conceived of the event? I certainly looked to other sources describing it, including the publications Library Journal & American Libraries, but they refer back to this same citation for their own description. Other references to the event are mostly showcasing the event because they understand that it is a real thing and have been doing so for 8 years now.
- Hello, Spfarrell,
- Articles accepted into the main space of the project need multiple, independent reliable sources from mainstream media, books, newspaper or academic journals that provide in-depth coverage of the subject. Information given by the subject of the article is not considered independent or neutral.
- If you have any more questions about article creation or Wikipedia's policies on notability, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 05:11, 26 July 2022 (UTC)
