Interesting page. The underlying ideas are nice, I'm just not sure why it had to be written in such ugly language. It's as though a pretentious dictionary vomited all over the piece. Bits like "Close off your screens, and dance with me into the luscious freedom of undocumented existence." are poetic and lovely and need little revision. Bits like "Its singular narratives [if they can even be said to be narratives] justified as necessitated by neutrality elide the incontrovertibly perspectival nature of knowledge acquisition and representation." are grotesque. And, of course, the black background with the grey font is completely unnecessary, and I'd think it were there only for irony, if not for your current user page. Lighten up a bit, eh? :-) --MZMcBride (talk) 02:45, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
- De gustibus non est disputandum and all that; that convoluted phrasing can take more unpacking can be an advantage – you chew it over slower. I quite like my grumpy holiday message :) . Skomorokh 02:50, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
