Thank you today for the article, introduced:
"Let me start this review with a line from the song: Di ka basta-basta makakita ng gento. [You just won't simply find something like this.]
This article is about a song recorded by Filipino boy band SB19, released just last May to support their second EP. It is their first single to reach multiple record charts, and for me, that is a great achievement for a Filipino act, considering the country's music industry is not as established as the West.
For background: I am interested in pop culture (especially Western songs), and some songs I listen to have corresponding Wikipedia articles of FA status. I noticed that Wikipedia articles of Filipino songs never attain such an assessment, even (what I believe) the country's most famous entries, "Buwan" and "Tala", so I decided this has to change. I nominated this for FAC because I believe it has its potential to be considered as one of the wiki's exemplary works." - You were right! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:14, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to the Visayan task force

[edit]

Link to task force page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Tambayan_Philippines/Visayan_task_force
Hello, I've noticed that you've written/edited a lot of articles about SB19, including Pagtatag!, which is of interest to the task force. The page is heavily a WIP right now, but I was wondering if joining the task force might be of interest to you. I know that Ken/Felip from SB19 and many of his solo works are also of interest to the task force.
Thanks so much. Feel free to just add yourself to the list of participants if you'd be interested in helping out with this task force. Bloomagiliw (talk) 17:26, 2 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Bloomagiliw. Thanks for the invite. I'll definitely take a look at it; however, it's not really my main topic of interest. I'll see what I can do in the future, though. – Relayed (t • c) 17:47, 2 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thank you! I understand that it's not everyone's niche, but I thought it'd be worth letting you know about it too. Bloomagiliw (talk) 18:13, 2 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

SB19 songs category

[edit]

Hi! I’d like to ask, can audio samples be included in the Category:SB19 songs? I noticed the information box at the top of the category page says it should only contain pages that are SB19 songs. Does this mean audio sample files are excluded from the category, or are they considered "pages" as well? AstrooKai (Talk) 20:09, 7 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, AstrooKai. First of all, thanks for uploading a sample of "Dungka!". Nope, that category is for Wikipedia articles, not for files hosted on Wikipedia servers. Audio samples can be categorized under Category:Wikipedia non-free audio samples. – Relayed (t • c) 08:54, 8 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the clarification, and for the note about the "Dungka!" sample. Also, great work on the article, it’s very well-written. I wasn’t aware that categories like Category:SB19 songs are limited to Wikipedia articles only, since I was planning to add song samples there, similar to how it's done in Category:Bini (group) songs. But knowing this now, I’ll remove the sample files of the Bini songs from that category as well. Appreciate the guidance! AstrooKai (Talk) 11:25, 8 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, and thank you! – Relayed (t • c) 13:23, 8 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
