Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tweet (social media)

This AfD is clearly inappropriate, and you should withdraw it. We don't delete articles because a name the topic is known by has changed. Please don't waste people's time like this before you understand how Wikipedia works. AndyTheGrump (talk) 04:58, 6 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly. Meanwhile though, we have an utterly pointless AfD, from a contributor that thinks that it is 'really important' to be able to nominate articles for deletion.[1] I'd have to suggest that discouraging any more pointless AfD's takes priority. Tone issues aside, the AFD has already been speedy closed. NotaBlocker, what Andy said is true. Your nomination didn't give a valid reason to delete the article.
