Managing a conflict of interest
[edit] Hello, Mjonellepeter. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:City Mayor Fair Debate Framework, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template), including links or details of reliable sources that support your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. jlwoodwa (talk) 01:59, 20 April 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of City Mayor Fair Debate Framework
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on City Mayor Fair Debate Framework requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.) that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Belbury (talk) 08:13, 24 April 2025 (UTC)

The Statesman's Affidavit moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to The Statesman's Affidavit. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs to be reviewed for acceptance into the encyclopedia. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. UtherSRG (talk) 00:49, 25 April 2025 (UTC)

The page Draft:The Statesman's Affidavit has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seemed to be unambiguous advertising which only promoted a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to have been fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Hi @UtherSRG,
- It's only a draft. I'm not planning on publishing it yet. Can it be back? I'm waiting for additional reference from reputable people and media. Thanks. Mjonellepeter (talk) 10:43, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- No. It is promotional. Wikipedia doesn't care about what you have to say about your own creation. We only want to hear what other folks have written about the subject. We start from what they've said and build up from that. We do not write what we want, then find people to write about our creations to support our desires. - UtherSRG (talk) 10:50, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @UtherSRG,
- But I declare the COI. Also, I remove my name in the text.
- I even created "Claim of Originality" https://zenodo.org/records/15281239
- It's a new idea. Affidavit, Obligation and Penalty for politician. I'm not even a politician, I'm just a private citizen.
- Also, it's only a draft page. How can I edit and improve it, if you delete it? Mjonellepeter (talk) 10:55, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- Please understand what Wikipedia is and what Wikipedia is not. What you want to do is counter to our purpose here. Read and understand those links. - UtherSRG (talk) 10:59, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @UtherSRG,
- But where is the deleted page? Can I still have at least the code, so I can put it back in the future once there is additional and independent reference? Thanks. Mjonellepeter (talk) 11:02, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- No. At such a time, you make a request from any admin, who will likely tell you to start from scratch (at best) or continue to tell you to stop promoting your ideas and instead build the encyclopedia. - UtherSRG (talk) 11:05, 25 April 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. UtherSRG (talk) 11:06, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines#The Statesman's Affidavit, you may be blocked from editing. 🇵🇸🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦🇵🇸 11:29, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
