Speedy deletion of Peter Mars

A tag has been placed on Peter Mars requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. I have nominated Peter Mars, an article that you created, for deletion. The article

is not well written. This is an encyclopedia, and the article should read like an encyclopedia article. If it did read like one, and if it had in-line sources, instead of it reading like a press release, editors would not be sitting around claiming a well-known American pop artist is not notable. Please, for the love of god, use in-line quotes to the references, or e-mail me copies of the articles (go to my user page and click on link to left, in tool box, that says E-mail this user), and I will add them. But, most of the articles are subscriber only, and I don't subscribe to most of those newspapers.

Also, you can possibly upload one small image of his artwork, but, no, the gallery of copyrighted artwork has gotta go. --KP Botany (talk) 08:31, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
