Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Hlmc4life52, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Tricolor Holdings, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

A tag has been placed on Tricolor Holdings requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Tenshi! Hi Tenshi, thanks so much for the feedback. I'll admit this is my first page so I have lots to learn in terms of formatting etc. I appreciate the resources you've sent over and will take some time to go through them.
However, I do think this is a significant page to have created and we'll have the opportunity to add more info to it over time. This company has billions of dollars in assets that appear funded by large banks in the United States. If it's gone under and those banks have to write off those loans (as one bank already has), it's a relatively material impact. Obviously, this happens frequently but many in the industry have been calling for a bubble in auto loans. Consumer balance sheets are fairly healthy but credit has soared and there are some early signs of deterioration; and auto loan defaults have been ticking up.
I guess my point is that, in a year from now, this could be a "nothing burger" and nobody will ever remember this company. However, if this is the start of something worse, then it could be the tip of the iceberg. Or at the very least, if the alleged fraud is true, this could be a textbook example to point to for educators, etc. as it relates to corporate fraud in the US.
I hope you'll consider withdrawing your request to delete this page. Hlmc4life52 (talk) 14:48, 12 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The page has already been deleted, though you can request at WP:REFUND to have the page restored to draftspace so you can improve it. I would strongly urge you to read WP:A7 and improve the draft before submitting it for review to Articles for Creation, else it will be deleted for the same reason. Tenshi!
