Minor edits

[edit]

Information icon I noticed that you have marked all your edits as minor. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia. It refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. signed, Willondon (talk) 14:38, 26 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi Histoireknowledgeable. All of your edits so far seem to involve inserting uncited or poorly-sourced claims promoting Pakistani or Pubjabi identity, sometimes even removing mentions of other ethnicities or nationalities that are supported by citations and replacing them with these claims (like this or this). Please familiarize yourself more carefully with Wikipedia's core content policies, especially Verifiability and Neutral point of view, and make an effort to respect these policies. If you feel something is wrong in the article but you're not sure how to proceed in accordance with these policies, please write a comment or question on the article's talk page so that other editors can help. Thanks, R Prazeres (talk) 18:33, 26 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry but I'm not Pakistani or Punjabi to have bias, my edit of "Examples of the style are found mainly in modern-day Pakistan and North India, with much smaller traces in Bangladesh." is backed by two sources that clearly detail that Bangladesh does not have the same extent of Mughal Architecture as India or Pakistan. This is a fact and proven by my sources. Histoireknowledgeable (talk) 18:54, 26 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mughal architecture. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. R Prazeres (talk) 19:08, 26 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You are undoing my edits, I did not undo any edits. Stop blatantly lying. Histoireknowledgeable (talk) 19:31, 26 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@R Prazeres Known to have deleted other's edits, brutally supressing creativity, gaslighting others into believing that they have caused an "edit war", clearly inspired by unwikipedia ways. Histoireknowledgeable (talk) 19:43, 26 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
When discussing edits, it really is best to stick to the edits and Wikipedia policies, guidelines, etc. Directly addressing the behaviour of other editors does not end well as a rule. signed, Willondon (talk) 19:51, 26 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again Histoireknowledgeable. As Willondon said, please stop making personal attacks. Edits like this look very bad. I apologize if my reverts seem frustrating to you, but Wikipedia is a project where all edits are subject to review by other editors. Articles are changed through consensus; when new edits are not accepted, they must be discussed with other editors. If editors merely repeat the same edits over and over, then anyone can add anything to any article without ever resolving problems; that's what the edit-warring policy is about. I have explained the problems as directly as possible to you, given you recommendations, and invited you to discuss one of your changes at Talk:Mughal architecture. Please respond by following the spirit of collaboration and discussion. Feel free to request further help or clarification from me or other editors. Always cite reliable sources

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Worldbruce. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Chicken tikka masala, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page.
Most of what can be found on the web is self-published, no impartial reviewers have evaluated the accuracy or fairness of it before it is served up. It is safer to stick to the websites of mainstream newspapers, refereed electronic journals, and university, library, and government collections of data. --Worldbruce (talk) 07:30, 29 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
