[edit] Hello, I'm Filmssssssssssss. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Abraham Lincoln have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. National varieties of English
[edit] Hello. In a recent edit, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the first author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. JACKINTHEBOX • TALK 19:10, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Gimkit
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Gimkit requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Jmertel23 (talk) 22:28, 17 March 2025 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 26
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Thomas Frankland Lewis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Britain. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 19:55, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- Oh, okay. I removed it. Floating Orb (talk) 22:06, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
Undiscussed move
[edit]I see that you moved Pasco County, Florida to Pasco County and Talk:Pasco County, Florida to Talk:Pasco County without any prior discussion and in contravention of the guideline at Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names)#Counties and parishes. I have reverted your moves, and I advise you to not rename any articles that are covered by a naming convention without gaining a consensus from the community to do so. - Donald Albury 02:28, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Oh, sorry. I won't do that again. Floating Orb (talk) 04:30, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
April 2025
[edit] If you insist on editing text with fake references ad you did in Daniel Siboni, you will be blocked from editing for abuse of Wikipedia. --Altenmann >talk 21:47, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
- Oh. I thought it was real. Sorry. I will fix it. Floating Orb (talk) 21:48, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
- You should not "think" and "guess" ad write Wikipedia without reading the sources. --Altenmann >talk 22:11, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
Your GAN
[edit]Hi, I've deleted the GAN page you created for McDonald's as this is meant to be created by the reviewer, not the nominator. The article will remain in the GAN list to be picked up by a reviewer. Thanks, Pickersgill-Cunliffe (talk) 21:49, 30 April 2025 (UTC)

Hello, Floating Orb
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username ClaudineChionh, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Digital Outdoor Menu Board, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
- Edit the page
- Remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- Click the button.
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|ClaudineChionh}}
. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of Digital Outdoor Menu Boards
[edit]Hello Floating Orb,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Digital Outdoor Menu Boards for deletion in response to your request.
If you didn't intend to make such a request and don't want the article to be deleted, you can edit the page and remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

[edit] Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Pasco eSchool. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:11, 18 May 2025 (UTC)

Hello Floating Orb. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Pasco eSchool, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Floating Orb. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Floating Orb|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:11, 18 May 2025 (UTC)
- No. I am not being paid to do anything. I made the page. Floating Orb (talk) 00:22, 19 May 2025 (UTC)

- Do you have personal connection to this school? How do you know the names of staff members that are without a source? Magnolia677 (talk) 11:35, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- I am a student there. Floating Orb (talk) 16:23, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- This would be an external relationship. Please carefully read the conflict of interest guideline. Thank you for you cooperation. Magnolia677 (talk) 16:40, 19 May 2025 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. You have a clear conflict of interest regarding this article, and have been edit warring to add promotional content which a consensus of editors have agreed not to include in school articles. I urge you to follow the WP:COI guidelines. Magnolia677 (talk) 17:00, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
