Thoughts on DYK?

Hello again FlightTerminationSystem, thanks for your continued work! Your articles are consistently high-quality. I just wanted to introduce you to something called "Did You Know" or DYK - you may have seen it on the main page. It's a great next step to take as an editor, and gets a lot of eyes on pages that don't usually get a ton of attention. If you'd like some help with the process, there are certainly facts that would make for good hooks in some of your articles, like perhaps Caconemobius fori. Just let me know! The fact was ... that the Kīlauea lava cricket disappears from a lava field as soon as any plants start to grow there? Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
