My user page

Hi, on my user page I don't know how to make the userbox scrollable (on mobile devices, only the left half is visible), could you please help me? Thank you in advance. JacktheBrown (talk) 11:05, 26 April 2025 (UTC)

I don't use user boxes at all so I cant really help with that --FMSky (talk) 12:49, 26 April 2025 (UTC)

Sources on MetalDays

Hey, thank you so much for cleaning up the MetalDays page. I'm new to Wikipedia editing — I only created an account because of the inaccuracy that the festival was being held annually in Velenje, even though it was only held there once. I completely agree that the information was redundant and repeated three times in the text, and I could have simply deleted that part. However, the source I added is better than the one currently used for documenting the move from Tolmin to Velenje. The second source is in German and behind a paywall, while the first is in Slovene (the country where the original festival comes from) and is a well-established Slovene publication. Edelwy (talk) 13:28, 26 April 2025 (UTC)

Yeah i re-added the other source --FMSky (talk) 13:46, 26 April 2025 (UTC)

Hey, not trying to stir up an edit war, but I readded pop rock instead of rock for Blondie's article, because why be overly broad when you already have new wave and punk, specific sub-genres of rock? Pop rock covers most of their discography, while also being the parent genre of power pop, which the band is also often described as, such as in the article. Also, I readded disco because it emphasizes their more danceable songs, like "Call Me", "Heart of Glass" and "Atomic", which are among their biggest hits even if they don't have a full album of disco songs. Happy editing! CleoCat16 (talk) 19:28, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

Cowboy Carter

Looks like Aoi is edit warring, can you please revert their edit please? 212.156.113.126 (talk) 07:39, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

Im not sure either what the best suited genres are, should prob be discussed on the talk page first FMSky (talk) 07:44, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

Dimebag Darrell

Hello. FYI, I've started up a discussion regarding the recent edits to the infobox at Talk:Dimebag Darrell#About the cause of death in the infobox if you're interested. Thanks, Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 01:24, 4 June 2025 (UTC)

Talk Justin Bieber

Why did "you" removed songwriter from Justin Bieber article? Lirress 3 (talk) 12:18, 4 June 2025 (UTC)

Because there's a note saying " Per Talk:Justin Bieber#RFC: Describing Bieber, consensus was reached to NOT list "songwriter" or "multi-instrumentalist". Please respect that consensus."

Crossfade and Body Count

I am the person who was responsible for discovering Crossfade thru Taxi

I also was the promoter of the Body Count shows I mentioned. Why do you keep taking the edits

I made down?

Reverting redirection

Hello, FMSky,

If you decide to revert another editor's effort to change an article to a Redirect, please check over the article and remove a PROD tag if one has been placed on the article. You don't want to restore an article only to have it deleted as a Proposed deletion, right? Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 19:49, 6 June 2025 (UTC)

No that was actually done on purpose. The user has been mass redirecting articles to nonsensical targets. Better to restore the original deletion tag and have it properly deleted than to have implausible redirects. See also the other users' comments here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion/Log/2025_June_6#SoulStice --FMSky (talk) 20:00, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
Well, next time please remove the PROD tags. After a PROD tag has been removed, for any reason like creating a Redirect, it can't be added back to the article. So, all 6 of those redirection reverts needed to have the PROD tag removed by me or another editor (in this case, another admin). Liz Read! Talk! 20:08, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
Chiming in: I was going to say more or less the same thing. If someone removes a PROD, even you think their reasoning is nonsensical, you should not restore the PROD. Instead, you can nominate the article for deletion (as you have), or you can nominate the redirect for discussion. Cheers, Cnilep (talk) 02:53, 9 June 2025 (UTC)

"Cirith Ungol"

Dear FMSky, I am Robert Garven, the drummer and founding member of "Cirith Ungol". Over the years, I've tried to edit this page, but I'm not good at writing code and I wondered if you could help me make some changes from time to time? Anyway, there's a lot of small mistakes/inaccuracies on here, but I don't really know how to add the references either, so if you were ever a fan of the bands music you might want to help out, if not, I totally understand.

I tried to add my email address, but the site won't let me however I'm on Facebook, Instagram, under my name Robert Garven

Rob Robertgarven (talk) 22:57, 23 June 2025 (UTC)

@Robertgarven: yes sure, what exactly do you need from me? i have the page watchlisted, if you add stuff i can make sure its properly sourced and formatted etc - FMSky (talk) 00:41, 24 June 2025 (UTC)

Luka Modric.

I'm not going to engage in an edit war, but the wording of disappointment doesn't completely justify the situation for Luka Modric and Croatia, so could you please give a reason for the revert ? Cltjames (talk) 12:31, 28 June 2025 (UTC)

Because the previous term doesnt make any senseFMSky (talk) 12:32, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
Well, it speaks about the progress of the Croatians progressing in the tournament, whilst disappointment is too personal and revealing. The reader doesn't need a blurb in the title, just an explanation. But whatever, it does make sense, and again, I'm just going to drop it, I dont want an edit war unless if you can see the reasoning. Cltjames (talk) 12:39, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
But they didnt even "progress"? They were eliminated in the group stageFMSky (talk) 12:45, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
Progress doesn't have to mean qualifying, it means the team's games. You're making it too technical. Cltjames (talk) 12:47, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
