Hi Drmies, I understand my previous edits may have come across as promotional and I take full responsibility. My goal was to create a neutral, well-sourced article draft about Christopher Hunt and Elite Traders Inc., but I now realize I misjudged the tone and approach.

I was not compensated for my edits, and I now understand the importance of adhering to Wikipedia’s neutral point of view and avoiding any appearance of self-promotion.

If unblocked, I will revise everything to follow Wikipedia’s notability standards, use only reliable third-party sources, and submit content through the Articles for Creation process using an encyclopedic tone. Are you Chris Hunt himself? If not, why are you using his name for your account name?
What - if any - affiliation do you have with Elite Traders Inc?
Are you fully aware of Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines and mandatory paid editing disclosure policy?

Unblocking my account

Hi Drmies,

I hope you’re doing well. I’d like to sincerely apologize for my earlier edits, which I now understand came across as promotional and did not meet Wikipedia’s standards for neutrality and sourcing.

My intention was to build a properly formatted, encyclopedic draft about myself (Chris Hunt) and my work with Elite Traders Inc., following the Articles for Creation (AfC) process. However, I now realize I should have been more mindful of conflict of interest and disclosure policies from the start.

I’d like to request an unblock with the following steps in place:

- I am the individual Chris Hunt, founder of Elite Traders Inc. - I will fully comply with Wikipedia’s conflict of interest and paid editing disclosure guidelines moving forward. - I will change my username to **ChrisHuntTrader** to avoid any branding confusion. - If unblocked, I will resubmit a revised draft through AfC with a neutral tone, reliable third-party sources, and without any promotional language.

You need to encapsulate your request with the {{unblock-spamun}} template. Without it, your request will not appear in the queue of unblock requests and will never be noticed by the reviewing administrators.

Please note that the queue is frequently backlogged with requests, so it may take several days or even weeks for your request to be reviewed. @EliteTradersInc, I've had a look at your deleted draft and I'm sorry to tell you I think this is probably hopeless. Please have a read of the guidelines at WP:NCORP and WP:NBIO and be really honest with yourself about whether you or your business have the sources to meet that standard. Consider also whether you really want a Wikipedia article in the first place - it's never going to look as professional as your own website, and you won't be able to control the content, which anyone will be able to use for any purpose. Okay, you're renamed. Please read WP:COI and WP:PAID. You're not being paid, exactly, since you're writing about yourself/your company, but you'll want to take the maximum possible precaution since you've already been blocked for promo. Any new articles about something you're connected to should go through the Articles for Creation process; start your drafts using WP:WIZARD and then submit them for review.
