Infobox election question
[edit]Hi, I know that you suggested the changes to Template:Infobox election to add parameters for "First" and "final" round where applicable, is there a way to add one for a runoff, or a way to change the display title for the final round parameter? Yoblyblob (Talk) :) 02:24, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
- @Yoblyblob Not at present, but that is something I did consider when making it as "rounds" imply different stages of voting whereas runoff implies an IRV system. I could make the change but as I'm not a template editor it would take some time for that to be implemented DimensionalFusion (talk · she/her) 11:50, 8 July 2025 (UTC)

Japanese articles
[edit]Sorry to revert you, but that is a seriously confusing parameter. I don't think many readers are going to understand that it links to the next election with the same set of seats elected (it took me a while to realise what it was despite knowing it was a partial election). As far as I can see, the parameter was added to the infobox without discussion fairly recently - probably worth having one to see whether there is support for it, and if so, how it can be better explained what the two links are to. - Hi Number 57, these next seat elections are used for other such partial elections, such as 2026 United States Senate elections, 2022, 2020, 2018, 2016 where it seems to be used just fine. I wouldn’t know about the parameter being added recently, I just found it and thought it fit. As far as I can tell, it’s been extant since at least April 2025. I think a discussion to clarify would be helpful, however DimensionalFusion (talk · she/her) 00:19, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
