Proposed deletion of 2029 West Northamptonshire Council election

Not Thorpe but Home

@DuncanHill: Are you sure? The US government clearly says that the person in the photo is "Liberal Party leader Jeremy Thorpe". I suppose it could be mislabelled but the caption even clarifies that the person in the photo is the Liberal Party Leader DimensionalFusion (talk · she/her) 21:20, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

@DuncanHill: The image that I uploaded is WHPO-0376-09-14. The RNL the caption is at [1]

Images WHPO-0376 09-14 are listed as "President Nixon meeting informally with Liberal Party leader Jeremy Thorpe. 2/25/1969, London, England, Claridge's Hotel."

But where did you get the image from? Anyway, it is obviously Home, so you need to rename the files on Commons. DuncanHill (talk) 22:16, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

@DuncanHill: I had to email them to get the image as they don't keep them on the website. I've put in for a rename request for the files on Commons. I suppose there's still no Jeremy Thorpe picture for the infobox, though (only 22 years in the making). I can't tell the difference between the picture I uploaded, Douglas-Home and Thorpe, so I'm going to AGF that it is indeed Douglas-Home and not Thorpe as the White House Photo Office says DimensionalFusion (talk · she/her) 22:32, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
