July 2025

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Pet Sounds, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Not judging your yacht rock obsession but this is getting way out of hand. You need to have a proper basis on how artists and their works are yacht rock. Carlinal (talk) 00:08, 14 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The article already says "The album's impact extended to the mid-1970s soft rock subgenre later dubbed "yacht rock", a term retroactively applied to music characterized by jazz-influenced arrangements, introspective lyrics, and apolitical themes; in particular, the track "Sloop John B" is frequently cited as a precursor to the genre's occasionally nautical-themed lyrics." I'm not going to put it back in that category but it's not like I pulled it out of my rear. DevonLevin (talk) 21:26, 18 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
One song's influence on the genre does not necessarily make its parent album part of said genre. There's been various labels ascribed to the album already (as referenced), but none of the sources directly call Pet Sounds a yacht rock album. Direct correlations of a work to a genre are preferred sources for genre labels. Carlinal (talk) 23:24, 18 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

2025–26 Kedah FA season moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to 2025–26 Kedah FA season. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources and it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Boleyn (talk) 15:35, 19 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I just added the page to a category but it isn't my article. DevonLevin (talk) 22:09, 20 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please add sort keys when you make categories

[edit]

Please add sort keys when you make categories, like Category:Dutch blind politicians, did not have keys for any of the parent categories. Moreover it looks like you forgot to add some parents like Category:British politicians with disabilities to some of these. This diff illustrates what I mean by sort keys SMasonGarrison 00:50, 2 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
