Juice WRLD

[edit]

Yeah, the "speculation" about Ally Lotti was true, she did in fact list those items, you removed that for no reason. Lifeisntsobadisit (talk) 00:39, 19 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it because it lacked sufficient sourcing. Do you have a source that complies with WP:BLP? Day Creature (talk) 00:42, 19 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I quite literally sourced very reputable hip-hop news sources for this, and it's a very well known fact in the Juice WRLD community. If you want yet another news source, here: https://hiphopdx.com/news/juice-wrld-ex-girlfriend-clothes-sold-cheap/
Ally Lotti did indeed do this and it's very well known fact, taking it down and calling it speculation means you don't even know much about him.
More sources: https://www.xxlmag.com/juice-wrld-ex-girlfriend-ally-lotti-selling-clothes-onlyfans/, https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/773545-juice-wrld-ally-lotti-bodily-fluid-dreads-clothes-onlyfans-hip-hop-news, https://hiphopdx.com/news/juice-wrld-ally-lotty-sex-tape-sale/
All of those being very popular hip-hop news sources - this is something that very evidently happened. Lifeisntsobadisit (talk) 00:48, 19 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Those are essentially the same sources that were in the article previously. To me they look like tabloid gossip coverage at best, basically repeating speculation and rumor found on social media. Please discuss at Talk:Juice WRLD and see if there is a consensus to include the disputed material. Keep in mind that even if the sourcing is sufficient the material may not be WP:DUE. Day Creature (talk) 01:27, 19 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
How is it gossip when it includes screenshots of the listing and DM's as well? There's literal evidence of what I said… and it's still not a good enough source. Lifeisntsobadisit (talk) 02:00, 19 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Screenshots can be faked or misinterpreted. I would again invite you to discuss this at Talk:Juice WRLD so other editors can weigh in and we can reach a consensus. Day Creature (talk) 14:55, 19 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you insist on showing Mohammad Bakri Palestinian instead of Israeli?

[edit]

Hi. Could you please explain your decision to change the Palestinian from Israeli and why do you insist on using that source? What makes it reliable in your eyes? Thanks. With regards, Oleg Y. (talk) 13:01, 25 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Presumably you are referring to Mohammed Bakri. I have not edited that article, so you seem to have confused me with another editor. Day Creature (talk) 16:08, 25 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I am referring to this edit. With regards, Oleg Y. (talk) 22:13, 26 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That's simply an edit to the article's talk page, where I denied an edit request because the proposed change would require prior consensus. It isn't me insisting on anything or making any changes to the article. Day Creature (talk) 22:47, 26 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No, it's your decision to block the removal of a fake information in Wikipedia. If it's not clear I can make it more clear:
  1. An editor asked to change the lead removing fake info that an Israeli-born actor is Palestinian and you have denied it claiming "It is my understanding that most Arabs in Israel identify as Palestinian citizens of Israel (as seen in the source you linked), rather than Israelis". Do you understand that your personal views that all Muslims in Israel are automatically Palestinians indirectly claim that Israel has no right to exist as any Palestinian living there automatically make it a Palestine? Do you know that many Israeli Arabs do not want to bed associated with Palestine even if some unreliable sources call them like this? And why did you decide to choose only the sources which point this view ignoring the rest of the sources?
  2. Can't you see that webgaza.net is not a reliable source? Have you read this on the home page: "Important Note: “This is a Personal and Self-Funded Website, and NOT Representing Any Official Palestinian Authority/Party... It is a Social and Cultural, but NOT a Political Website...""
  3. Are you planing to continue insisting on using non-reliable sources to add or keep fake information in Wikipedia or have you released that you made made a mistake?
With regards, Oleg Y. (talk) 14:49, 29 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Again, I denied the edit request because edit requests are to be used for noncontroversial changes only, and changing someone's ethnicity from Palestinian to Israeli is clearly a controversial change requiring consensus, as evidenced by the multiple discussions on the article's talk page. I also observed that most Arabs in Israel identify as Palestinian citizens of Israel, noting that the source provided by the editor making the request actually described Bakri this way. This was not the reason why I denied the request, and it was simply an observation, one based not on my personal opinions but on my knowledge of the region. I did not claim "that all Muslims in Israel are automatically Palestinians", nor did I make any claims about Israel's right to exist. I did not express my views as to the reliability of webgaza.net or any other source, and I am not insisting on using any particular source or sources. Please refrain from making any further false claims regarding my editing. See WP:ASPERSIONS. Day Creature (talk) 15:39, 29 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No need to repeat and go in circles. A person born in country "X" is "X person". There is nothing controversial here. And since when we write ethnicity and not nationality? Why do you try to substitute the two? Do you write "John Winston Ono Lennon (born John Winston Lennon; 9 October 1940 – 8 December 1980) was an English musician and activist." or "John Winston Ono Lennon (born John Winston Lennon; 9 October 1940 – 8 December 1980) was a Christian musician and activist."? Your statement "I also observed that most Arabs in Israel identify as Palestinian citizens of Israel, noting that the source provided by the editor making the request actually described Bakri this way." is an original research, which has no place in Wikipedia. I ask you to please stop adding your own opinions and original research to Wikipedia articles. See WP:OR. And please no not use non-reliable sources like the one used right now. With regards, Oleg Y. (talk) 01:11, 30 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Acting this way over a single post I made to a talk page is an absurd overreaction on your part. You seem to be incapable of understanding that I closed the edit request not because I agree with how Bakri is currently described in the article, but because a consensus is needed to change it. Instead of participating in a consensus process and working collaboratively with other editors to determine the wording that should be used, you are exhibiting a battleground mentality and attacking editors whom you (incorrectly) perceive to be your opponents. This is deeply regrettable. You are also continuing to make blatantly false claims about me, including that I am adding original research to articles and that I am using unreliable sources. WP:OR does not apply to talk pages. To repeat: I did not edit Mohammed Bakri, and the current wording of the article, including the source used, has nothing to do with me whatsoever. Your false accusations are completely unacceptable and need to stop immediately. Day Creature (talk) 15:54, 30 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Israel Article Edit Request

I added sources to my edit request. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Qazxwsecd (talkcontribs) 00:02, 29 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I saw. Unfortunately I don't have the time to go through and evaluate all the sources at the moment, but hopefully other editors will be able to assist. Day Creature (talk) 04:31, 29 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Request

[edit]

Hi, I would like permission to edit the Wikipedia article on Narayana. Could you please explain the process for obtaining permission to edit the articles on Narayana, Vishnu, or other semi-protected pages? Anushree Patil (talk) 15:14, 12 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Narayana and Vishnu are extended confirmed protected. You will be able to edit them once you have at least 500 edits and your account has existed for at least 30 days. See WP:XC. Day Creature (talk) 15:58, 12 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I have a question. I believe that the articles of the three supreme gods and goddesses should be protected. However, I have edited the articles on Lord Shiva, Lord Brahma, Goddess Saraswati, Goddess Lakshmi, and Goddess Parvati without facing any problems. So why am I experiencing difficulties when editing the articles on Narayana and Vishnu? Why are only the articles on Narayana and Vishnu protected? Please answer me. Anushree Patil (talk) 07:37, 13 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
You can find out why an article is protected by accessing its protection log (available from the "Page information" link in the "Tools" menu). In this case, the logs say that Narayana and Vishnu were both protected as part of contentious topics enforcement for the South Asia contentious topic. More information on this can be found at WP:CT/SA. To learn more about how page protection works on Wikipedia in general, I would suggest reading Wikipedia:Protection policy. And if you would like to request that the protection level of a page be changed, you can do that at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. In general, page protection is implemented to prevent disruptive editing from happening and isn't based on how important the article is. Day Creature (talk) 15:23, 13 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request

[edit]

Hello friend, I saw you helped with my edit request on the Ayman Nofal page and I'm very thankful for that. I was wondering if you might be willing to help me with a different edit request as well.

I am referring to the edit request titled "Incorrect number of deceased hostages" on the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Gaza_war_hostage_crisis

It seems other editors have not noticed it, which is why I'm reaching out directly to you. I would appreciate it if you could take some of your time to look into it, and possibly, address the changes there.

Thank you. Snackbar.me3 (talk) 13:40, 30 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I did notice that edit request but I won't be able to handle it as the Washington Post source is paywalled and I can't access it. On a separate note, why are you using two different accounts? Day Creature (talk) 17:55, 30 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
That's odd. For me the article does not appear to be paywalled.
About my account, I lost access to the other one, so this is my new one :) Snackbar.me3 (talk) 20:25, 30 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
In that case I would recommend putting a note disclosing your previous account on your userpage, i.e. something like "I previously used the account Snackbar.me2 but lost access to it." Day Creature (talk) 00:43, 31 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@Snackbar.me3 I had the same question. You definitely are going to want to disclose that and perhaps ask for the other account to be blocked so there is no confusion. @Day Creature the timescales do match up with no apparent overlap. And you can break the wapo paywall with archive.is, i think archive.org, and I thought we had it on the library, but apparently not. Also the information needed is actually above the paywall. ← Metallurgist (talk) 03:26, 2 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know that Northern Africa is in Africa?

[edit]

Hey Day Creature,

Did you know that Northern Africa is in Africa and if you do know that fact, then why don't you implement the latest edit request on Talk:Black people? You do realize that the phrase "recent African origin" is redundant, since Northern Africa is in Africa? ~2026-67534-6 (talk) 13:25, 31 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Day Creature, can you please reply? ~2026-75002-2 (talk) 13:46, 3 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification regarding my edit request - Irfan Faiz Abbasi

[edit]

I am the user Irfan Faiz Abbasi. My previous request was collapsed as 'LLM-generated', but I want to clarify that the core information and the historical reference are my own research. I used an assistant to help with the Wikipedia formatting because I am a new user, but the facts from the Imperial Gazetteer of India (Page 344) regarding the Riasti language are accurate and essential for this article. Please do not exclude my request from the consensus. I am a member of the local community and I seek historical accuracy for the Bahawalpur State page." Hi, please do not use AI chatbots to edit Wikipedia or post on talk pages. See WP:AITALK. Day Creature (talk) 17:26, 2 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
This is not AI. Irfan Faiz Abbasi (talk) 17:36, 2 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
OK, but your post at the article talk page certainly was, and the 1st post you made here likely was as well. You are welcome to make a new edit request at the article talk page without the use of AI. Day Creature (talk) 17:42, 2 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Reply to revert of Sambandam page

[edit]

Hi, I'd like to propose this summary of the 1904 Madras Mail report. Please let me know if I should make the change on the Talk page directly.

A report in the 1904 Madras Mail[1] covers a Nair Sambandam marriage between C V Raman Pillai's daughter, Gowrikutty Amma and A R Pillai. The report highlights the role of caste in determining the color of cloth used in the exchange ceremony and in determining the vessels allowed to be used. The report also notes the Kurava ululations that women engage in during the ceremonies. This particular instance is notable for its addition of customs rare for Sambandam weddings of the time - the presence of a ring with the cloth, the presence of European guests and the attire of the bride and bridegroom influenced by Western styles. Hi, please see the notice I left on your talk page about using AI chatbots to edit Wikipedia. Please also remember to sign your posts by typing 4 tildes at the end (see WP:SIG). Day Creature (talk) 16:47, 20 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this is my response to the response on my talk page (since you'd asked me to reply on your Talk page). The above is written with 0 AI chatbot help. Please let me know if I should request the edit to this wording on the Sambandam page itself, or how I should proceed here. Thanks! Silent Nemesis2710 (talk) 23:09, 20 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
