Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Bioinfocore
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Bioinfocore, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 15:35, 19 August 2020 (UTC)

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 16:01, 19 August 2020 (UTC)

Request reason:
I didn't know that even with the declaration that I can't post the page that posted, I will just stop adding the page. However, with my professional knowledge of bioinformatics, I can contribute to other pages under this user name. It's just a generic name, if google it, it will show that it is not a brand it is just a generic term. Even more, it is different from the page title I was creating. Thanks.
Accept reason:
I've unblocked your account. Welcome back. PhilKnight (talk) 17:17, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
- The Blade of the Northern Lights - What are your thoughts here, considering the request above? This username appears fairly generic to me, but I might be missing something. SQLQuery me! 21:59, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
- The explanation makes sense. I'd be OK with whatever you want to do. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 23:44, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
