The longest Pokémon?

I saw you undid my edits on how exeggcutor is one of the longest pokémon. According to many sources about top (30?) longest pokémon, Alolan Exeggutor is up there. Wailord definitely crushes it. But it's still up there. Though I might be completely wrong about that, I have registered at Wikipedia pretty recently after all so there's still many things new to me...

this comes down to a couple of issues

• this requires a definition of "out there" (in alola? in the entire franchise? in the world?)
• this requires a definition of length that differs from height (in a way that doesn't make things awkward for pokémon taller than they're long and vice versa)
• both of those, in the specific wording used, would be considered opinions, and are thus not worth including unless attributed to someone else via a reliable source (i recommend checking wp:vgsources for this)

that aside, it's better discussed in alolan exeggutor's notes in the gen 7 list, which might undergo a massive overhaul that could include that detail and fan reception to it

the mess that has become of that question might take a couple months to clean up. honestly, i'm not going to be surprised if the related rfc, which was based on this discussion in wt:delp, which was itself based on this discussion in wt:r, which was itself based on a running gag of debates about whether or not to restore unsourced, uncontested (or flimsily contested) blars (give or take opposition in rfd, which can just have it closed as restore), which culminated in this mess in rfd

the teahouse thread in question was made during the initial rfd, meaning the downward spiral downward spiral still wasn't that deep. this part isn't important, it's just funny to note
