- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 09:34, 3 October 2024 (UTC)

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:53, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hello,
- I do not appreciate your comment. In fact, I had little interest in continuing to edit the page at all, and was going to leave it up to the other editors on the talk page. However, you seem to have resorted to insults, which are not tolerated here. Cmrc23 ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ 15:28, 16 December 2024 (UTC)

Shaken Baby Syndrome
Hi Cmrc23 You deleted some of my edits to the Shaken Baby Syndrome page. That was fine, you were right to do so because there were not citations, I have re made the edits and now added citations. Note that I have published extensively in the area of Shaken Baby Syndrome. 212.231.122.108 (talk) 15:47, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for adding some references! I'm not sure what the policy is on editing articles you've published in, but i recommend reading wp:coi just in case. Happy editing! Cmrc23 ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ 16:19, 24 December 2024 (UTC)

Merry (late) Christmas
Hello Cmrc23, although I really only know you from the Teahouse, I thought I’d just come and say Merry Christmas (late Christmas), and if you don’t celebrate, then Merry December! Yuanmongolempiredynasty (talk) 12:28, 27 December 2024 (UTC)

Removal of content was justified.
Listen what i removed was right as massacre really didn't happen. If you so kindly remove it again,it would be fine otherwise i would have to do it again. This ammounts to racism as Africans were under persecution and slavery. This only paints them as bad guys while they were trying to protect their families. - Hello, I am not very well versed on the topic in question, but I strongly suggest you review the links provided on your talk page. When editing, we must provide an edit summary, otherwise it appears to others that content was removed without reason. The best option might be to discuss this on the article's talk page. Upcoming expiry of your rollbacker right
Hi, this is an automated reminder as part of Global reminder bot to let you know that your permission "rollbacker" (Rollbackers) will expire on 18:41, 27 January 2025 (UTC). For most rights, you will need to renew at WP:PERM, unless you have been told otherwise when your right was approved. To opt out of user right expiry notifications, add yourself to m:Global reminder bot/Exclusion. Leaderbot (talk) 19:41, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
Tendentious editing at article MobiKwik
Hi, I hope you are doing good. I am contacting you regarding tendentious editing that has been done by two editors at the mainspace article MobiKwik. The users are:
- User:AbhaiTanwar
- User:SloppyKloppy
There is some undisclosed COI most probably, I am unsure weather to undo there edits or not so looking for guidance on that part. Please let me know Macrobreed2 (talk) 04:35, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, thanks for the heads up. I'm not an admin or anything and am pretty new to this myself, you could try raising a case at the COI noticeboard, or asking an admin on their talk page.
- In general, I strongly suggest googling the username and the brand or organisation involved with the potential COI, as this often turns up good evidence that the editing is a conflict of interest. I strongly suggest warning the users first (try uw-coi) and revert anything unsourced, contentious, or obviously unneccesary for an article, with a warning on their talk page, but *do* assume good faith! Cmrc23 ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ 00:19, 5 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Macrobreed2
as the first user continued their editing after a warning, and a google search implies they may be an employee of the company, I will make a case on the COI noticeboard.Cmrc23 ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ 00:21, 5 February 2025 (UTC)- Disregard, the edits do not meet the criteria for reporting yet. I will warn them again Cmrc23 ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ 00:25, 5 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Cmrc23, thanks for looking into it. The said users have removed the entire controversy section which was sourced and as you said the username seems like an employee, and you've warned them again. Let's see what happens next! Please notify me if you create a case on the COI noticeboard (like you I'm also a newbie to this). Regards Macrobreed2 (talk) 03:08, 5 February 2025 (UTC)
- I have attempted to revert the COI edits but I am not quite sure if I have removed all of them. Removal of content without explanation should fall under Template:Uw-delete1 though. Cmrc23 ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ 03:26, 5 February 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for doing it. As I can see User:Yuvaank made an edit on 27 December in which they summarised that they have removed promotional content but they also removed the controversy section. Macrobreed2 (talk) 19:08, 5 February 2025 (UTC)

Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It will be held from Monday June 16 - Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize and $300 top prize for most Science and Tech destubs and improvements. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:54, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
