Using the Link suggestions feature
[change source]Hello, Chronos.Zx. Thanks for the work you've done here to improve articles.
I noticed that you were using the Link suggestions feature. When you use that, please be careful about what the tool is suggesting. Sometimes it suggests links that are not correct or that we don't want for some reason. Here are some example:
- This change to Pausanias (geographer) saw the phrase "who lived in the times of Hadrian" and suggested linking "the times" to The Times. However, The Times' is a British newspaper, so that link should not have been made.
- This change to Rulers of ancient Manipur before Nongta Lailen Pakhangpa suggested linking "44 BC". However, we don't link dates in most articles, so that link should not have been made.
- This change to Thessaloniki saw the term "Agia Sofia" and suggested linking "Sofia". However, "Agia Sofia" (also spelled "Hagia Sofia") is the name of a church in Istanbul, Turkey, whereas Sofia is a city in Bulgaria and has nothing to do with the church or this article, so "Sofia" shouldn't have been linked separately.
I didn't look at all the changes you made with this tool, but I hope this gives you an idea of how to use it. Please make sure the suggested links seem to make sense based on what the article is about. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask. -- Auntof6 (talk) 07:53, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
