The former colleague of our company was in charge of putting the article "Quality investing" on wikipedia. He has left and we don't have any data related to the account he created. I'm now in charge of this article and want to edit this article. Do I need any special permissions related to the edition of this article?
Thanks in advance.

- Let me make one thing clear: you are not "in charge of this article". Wikipedia articles belong to Wikipedia only, not to the first or any contributor, and certainly not to any company connected with the subject - see WP:Ownership of articles. You can see from the article history of Quality investing that a number of users have contributed. You are welcome to contribute on the same basis as any other individual - not as a representative of your company, because accounts are for individuals only, who are personally responsible for them. Bear in mind that Wikipedia is not for promotion or advertising of any kind; read carefully the guidelines Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest. In summary, if you have a COI, you should generally suggest changes on the article talk page, declaring your interest, rather than make them yourself. Another question concerns the WIKINVEST website. Whom shall I contact in order to put the article "Quality investing" on the WIKINVEST?
Thanks in advance. Ceams ch (talk) 12:04, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- You can copy material from Wikipedia freely, but under the license terms you must provide attribution - see Wikipedia:Copyrights#Reusers' rights and obligations. WIKINVEST has no connection with Wikipedia: it is up to them whether they accept your material. JohnCD (talk) 12:15, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

Hello. Is it possible to change the name of the user or delete the account?
Thanks in advance.
- Deleting an account is not possible, however you can rename your account by placing a request at this page. Hope that helped! Pmlineditor ∞ 09:29, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
