Peace is a state of balance and understanding in yourself and between others, where respect is gained by the acceptance of differences, tolerance persists, conflicts are resolved through dialog, peoples rights are respected and their voices are heard, and everyone is at their highest point of serenity without social tension
The Principle of Least Drama says that given a choice between several ways of dealing with a problem, pick the one that generates the least drama. If the only approach you can think of is laden with drama, sign off for the night. You may think of a new alternative in the morning, or someone else may have implemented a better approach. AI
[edit]From the Pluribus article: Artificial Intelligence promises "smooshing" all human intelligence into one obsequious collective mind". Josh Rosenberg of Esquire interpreted Pluribus as an allegory for humanity's "bizarre acceptance" of artificial intelligence in a story that "for once, we're watching a meaningful story about our connection to AI that isn't solely about choosing whether to fall in love with it or kill it". Gilligan has noted his own disdain for AI, and an anti-AI disclaimer in the end credits of Pluribus states that "this show was made by humans". Buster Seven Talk (UTC) 19:15, 12 December 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Buster7, thank you for everything you do to keep EOTW humming. It spreads so much happiness and camaraderie across the 'pedia, and certainly helps with editor retention. And making editing fun! It couldn't happen without your hard work, and as a quite recent EOTW recipient, it really means a lot to the people who receive the recognition. Thank you for the holiday wishes, and let me return the favor by saying the best to you and yours in 2026 :)

Chicago Women's History Month Edit-a-thon
[edit]Hello! This is Luiysia again. It was amazing seeing so many people come out for Wikipedia Day in January. For March, we will be hosting an edit-a-thon in honor of Women's History Month supporting Chicago woman writers.
Here is the official meetup page, where you can register for the online and in-person edit-a-thon.
The edit-a-thon will be lasting all of March online, during which time you can contribute via the program's dashboard. On March 24th, we will be meeting in-person at Skunk Cabbage Books, in the Logan Square neighborhood, at 6:30 PM.
See you soon!
(If you would prefer not to see messages for Chicago meetups, go ahead and take yourself off this list.)
