Syracuse RM Discussion
[edit]We're both agree on opposing the proposal at the Talk:Syracuse discussion. As far as wording, I think your case would be much more persuasive without the words "stupid" and "disruptive" in this edit.
If you agree, you might consider either collapsing or refactoring that one reply. - RevelationDirect (talk) 22:24, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you. I’ll consider it. —В²C ☎ 23:24, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
Possible project related to your contributions
[edit]Hello Born2cycle, I saw your contributions to the Aurora Innovation article. I represent a company in the self-driving truck industry and am exploring the possibility of having a neutral, policy-compliant article drafted for Wikipedia. This company is listed among the industry players on the self-driving truck entry and has been the subject of extensive media coverage including Fox News & WSJ.
Would you be open to discussing this? It will be my pleasure to fully disclose my role and, upon request and your advisement that this would be within policy, share a database of specific independent sources.
Thanks, Mike Mhanbery (talk) 19:48, 13 August 2025 (UTC)

NCUKPARL
[edit]Wikipedia:Naming conventions (UK Parliament constituencies) was changed to disambiguate only when necessary per Wikipedia talk:Article titles#RfC on pre-emptive disambiguation in constituency article titles. Also a further note that Amakuru made about using Clacton (constituency) instead of Clacton (UK Parliament constituency) when disambiguation is needed but it is the only constituency seems a good idea. This was discussed at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Archive325#On the underlying issue... where it was noted that the titles could be expected to be more general rather than specific topics namely Leeds North West refering to the area of Leeds in general. As far as films and songs go many of them have generic names but there was apparently consensus to only use qualifiers when necessary but as far as villages like Ramsholt go it would be silly to have Ramsholt, Suffolk as there is no reason anyone would expect anything else. - You’re BACK!!! YAY!!!!!
- Now, what are you yammering about? Is this just an fyi, or are you looking for my input? — В²C ☎ 07:42, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- A bit of both since as noted it might make sense for a new RFC to move the likes of Clacton (UK Parliament constituency) to Clacton (constituency). Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:04, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- Too busy in real life to spearhead that. Let me know if it happens and I'll weigh in. --В²C ☎ 01:38, 9 November 2025 (UTC)
- I have started a new RfC at Wikipedia talk:Article titles#RfC on "(constituency)" alone. Crouch, Swale (talk) 22:12, 9 November 2025 (UTC)
