I've nominated because having an article on Italian wikipedia does not mean they are suitable for English Wikipedia, which has different policies and is generally stricter than other languages. Additionally, a review of the Italian wikipedia article shows that many of the sources there are passing mentions (or in at least one case do not mention the subject at all), which means adding them here wouldn't improve notability. While the article is at AfD, there is nothing stopping you from improving the article or providing sources in the AfD discussion that show the subject does meet notability.
