About your username

[edit]

Hi (゜-゜) and thank you for your contributions so far, especially here.

While your username isn't so much explicitly prohibited under Wikipedia's "Wikipedia:Username policy" - which I would advise you to read - it does appear to be, for lack of better words, a bit clunky: difficult to read, requiring mouse clicks and Ctrl+C to respond to.

Should you wish to retain your current username, that's your choice, but it may well cause difficulties. If you wish to change your username, please see this process guide.

Wishing you all the best - Shirt58 (talk) 🦘 10:22, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would second this; this username makes it very difficult for others to communicate with you. I would urge you to change it. 331dot (talk) 14:40, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The user name is prohibited I think - see WP:NOEMOJI. GiantSnowman 21:15, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I would second all of this, I'll change it now :) (゜-゜) (talk) 10:27, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
