Gyanesh follows the ideals of 'Karambhumi Janambhumi' in his business practices and actions. 'Karambhumi Janambhumi' emphasizes the duty to give back to one's place of birth (Janmabhumi) through meaningful contributions in one's workplace and society (Karambhumi). This philosophy is also reflected in Vikram Solar's "Make in India" approach, investing in domestic solar manufacturing, creating employment, and contributing to India's renewable energy goals.[10]

Under his guidance, the company launched several CSR programs under Vikram Solar Foundation, the CSR wing of the company, (https://www.vikramsolarfoundation.org/) focusing on health, education, and skill development. A few of the recent projects include-Swachh Urja, Ujjwal Bhavishya, a three-year partnership with CRY (Child Rights and You), aimed at improving education, hygiene, and clean energy awareness in rural areas. Driven by shared goals of sustainability and energy independence, Vikram Solar partnered with the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE), Lions Cancer Detection Centre Trust, Surat, and Vipassana Sodepur to install a rooftop solar system, promoting renewable energy adoption, energy savings, and a commitment to eco-conscious practices and community enrichment.[11][12][13]

Gyanesh started the Yashvi Art Foundation to support Indian art, heritage, and young artists. He is also involved with the World Monument Fund and supports publications, like coffee table books, that highlight architecture and cultural history.[14][15][16]
