I contribute primarily to articles relating to fossil fishes, and have a particular interest in extinct holocephalans. My current projects consist of expanding stub and start-class articles on fossil fish taxa, as well as creating articles for taxa that do not yet have them (a lot of them, including some pretty significant ones). I've begun journaling projects I would like to complete to give some structure to my editing, although I don't follow these rigidly. These goals will also reflect my uploads on Wikimedia Commons.
Current top-priority personal projects:
Destub all articles I have created
Current high-priority personal projects
Create and improve articles for important stem-group and early chondrichthyan taxa
Find speakers fluent in Russian and French who are willing to fact-check the translations used on Parahelicoprion, and adjust the article according to their feedback
Submit a fact-checked version of Parahelicoprion for good article review
Ornithoprion (complete rewrite and expansion, with copyediting and review by Jens Lallensack. Formerly . I also provided illustrations)
Dracopristis (contributed to an expansion to help the article maintain GA status. Original GAN and majority of the article's content by Fossiladder13, and additional work by Jens Lallensack. I also provided the life reconstruction)
Parahelicoprion (rewritten, with significant content expansion and additional sourcing. Former )
Sarcoprion (removed original research and minorly expanded)
Holocephali (complete rewrite and expansion. Huge thanks to Montanoceratops for providing photographs of rare specimens. Former )
Osteolepis (WIP; part of a collaboration to improve important paleontology articles)
Helicoprion (article by Hemiauchenia and NGPezz, my contributions so far have largely consisted of additional sourcing and updating text in accordance with the last few years of research. Significant expansion also done by Amirani1746)
I draw once in a while, and make an effort to contribute skeletal diagrams or life reconstructions for my preferred research subjects when possible. Some of my older life recons are very speculative/inaccurate and have no merit being used on the site.
