Option 1

Article Title: "Medieval Scandinavian architecture"
Article Evaluation: Given that this articles is meant to cover an entire era of a regional form of architecture it seems relatively short. A couple of buildings types are excluded from the list and not many examples, in the form of names or pictures, are given for the styles of buildings that are included. Little mention of history is made in regards to where these building forms came from and why they are this why. On top of that, not much is said in regards to how these buildings led to more modern adaptations and applications. General bolstering and specficis are necessary for this article.

Article Title: "Cleanup listing for WikiProject Architecture as of October 1, 2024" (link)
Article Evaluation: So I found this in Portal:Architecture, down towards the bottom, and I know it isn't entirely what you had in mind because you want us to do research and find sources for a specific subject, but there's a lot of little clean up on a lot of articles in the buildings, architectural eras, locational architecture, and architects realms that need attention, such as dead-links, missing footnotes, small clarity tweaks in introduction paragraphs, etc. So if I could go around and make some of these smaller changes to a lot of these articles I think it would be the most beneficial to the overarching concept of improving Wikipedia that you've sought for us to do in this project, but if you do just want me to pick one to focus on, I do understand.

Option 3

[edit]
Article Title: "Palazzo Tolomei"
Article Evaluation: The first reference is dead-linked as it has been pay-walled by the JSAH, so updating this reference would be a first step. Beyond this, further expansion on the history and context of the building is necessary as the short three paragraphs does not do nearly enough to summarize the history of this building considering it was finished in 1275. Further, no mention is made of the interior, only one image of the front is provided, the other image being a plaque on the wall of the palace. Overall, more information on this Palazzo is availalbe and should be included in this article.

Option 4

[edit]
Article Title: "Santa Maria della Presentazione"
Article Evaluation: First of all the title of the page is not even the official name of the church as that name is already taken on a different, even less developed page. But talking about the page titled "Le Zietlle" (which is what the article title above is linked to) very briefly touches on the design/construction process of the church. Only one image of the exterior is present, no plan is shown, or interior photos. Little is mentioned of the usage and further history of the church through ages (such as the one described in my first source). All in all this article just needs more, seeing as I'm sure this building has a much longer story to tell.

Option 5

[edit]
Article Title: "Lessay Abbey"
Article Evaluation: Decent history is given up until 1423, but nothing is really said after this time. It is breifly mentioned that the abbey was destryoed in 1944 and reconstructed, but nothing was said about how or why. Additionally, besides the introduciton paragraph which makes mention of the style of architecture the church was built in, not much more depth or critque is given to the facade, nor is the interior even mentioned. A single image appears of the exterior. Nothing is said of this being one of the first churches to have a clear vertical emphasis with clerstory. Nor is the latin cross plan mentioned, or depicted.
