Waguma Aggrey is a Ugandan journalist, media personality, and humanitarian. He founded the [Waguma Birthday Charity] initiative, which organizes medical camps, educational outreach, and community empowerment programs in eastern Uganda. He is also the founder of [Arise for Greatness ministry Uganda], a coffee venture focused on promoting sustainable coffee farming and marketing.

\== Early Life and Education ==

Waguma was born in Uganda. He holds a diploma and a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. His early interest in storytelling and community engagement led him to pursue a career in media and public communication.

\== Career ==

Waguma began his career in journalism, working with various media platforms in Uganda, like TOP Television in 2012, and as a Transmission Assistant, 2013, he joined NBS Television as a Videographer to date. His work includes reporting on rural health issues, education access, and youth empowerment. His journalism career laid the foundation for his transition into community development.

In addition to his media work, Waguma is involved in Church services, and he founded the Boy Child Foundation Uganda (BCFU), a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by boys and young men in Uganda with vocational skills, mentorship, and leadership skills that empower boys to become responsible, productive, and compassionate members of society.

\== Humanitarian Work ==

In 2023, Waguma organized a community medical camp in Kiwanyi Sub County, Namutumba District, in collaboration with the Uganda Sickle Cell Rescue Foundation. The camp offered free health services, sickle cell screening, and treatment to over 300 people.

Building on this success, he is organizing a larger health and empowerment event scheduled for 1 November 2025, aiming to serve over 500 beneficiaries. The event will combine a medical outreach camp with a Boy Child Forum Empowerment session and has an estimated budget of UGX 30 million.

Through his daily preaching, Waguma advocates for better access to the right information, knowledge, children's empowerment channels, and economic empowerment for the boy child. The podcasts features discussions on children grooming and empowerment.

Waguma's work in journalism and community health has earned attention in local media and among nonprofit circles in Uganda. His collaborations with health NGOs and youth-focused groups have made a notable impact in the Busoga sub-region.
