Trachypithecus ebenus Trachypithecus Asiako Colobinae primateetako espezie bat da. Bere generoen artean oso ezezaguna da, Laos eta Vietnam arteko mugan bizi dira.[1] Hasiera batean Trachypithecus auratus barruan sailkatzen zen, azpiespezie gisa[2]. 2001ean gomendioa jaso zen espezie desberdindu gisa hartzeko[3].
