Proposed merge

Hi @Auntof6, in 2011, you proposed that this template be merged. A lot has happened since then, and the main template was updated in 2018. Is this still an active merge request? If so, why did you think it should be merged? Griff (talk) 02:13, 20 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Griffinofwales: After that long, I don't know what my reason was at the time. I do see that this one has many fewer transclusions (93 vs. over 72,000) than Template:Navbox. I also see that enwiki redirects this name to Template:Navbox. I would think we could do the same, if we verify that Template:Navbox works for the ones that currently use this one. It looks like it might be only a handful of templates that use this one. I'd be willing to work on that, unless you want to do it. I agree with your approach. I have gone ahead and updated the appropriate navboxes and the template is now redirected. Thanks for the response. Griff (talk) 11:28, 20 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
