Template:Edit semi-protected is permanently protected from editing because it is a heavily used or highly visible template. Substantial changes should first be proposed and discussed here on this page. If the proposal is uncontroversial or has been discussed and is supported by consensus, editors may use {{edit template-protected}} to notify an administrator or template editor to make the requested edit. Usually, any contributor may edit the template's documentation to add usage notes or categories.

Any contributor may edit the template's sandbox. Functionality of the template can be checked using test cases.

Bug: broken heading/edit summary on redlink(?) talk pages

Way to long

Not sure if this has been broken for a while, but this template is appearing very long instead of wide, making those requesting an edit barely able to see the edit area without having to scroll. — xaosflux ^Talk 01:43, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure why I was pinged here, since I haven't to my knowledge done anything related to semi-protected edit requests in ages, but Special:Diff/1074406884 seems to have fixed it. * Pppery * _{it has begun...} 03:12, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Pppery hmmm, thank you, seems a little bit better, but still problematic. Don't worry about more follow up if you aren't interested. In general, the user story is: "This notice is so large, that it hides the actual edit window". — xaosflux ^Talk 19:08, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Template:Col-float defaults to 30em, which, for me/my font size, in combination with the 80% width and the (unnecessary?) blue icon, means that I see everything in a single column. Maybe make it wider than 80%, and lose the blue dot? Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 20:58, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Youngest Player

Because this page is semi-protected I am unable to edit the last sentence under Senior Career- in fact Isabell Herlovsen scored for Norway vs France in the women's Euros in 2005 and was then and still is the youngest goal scorer in the history of the Euros - born June 23rd 1988 she was 16 years, 11 months, and 18 days old when she scored - Lamine Yamal was 16 years, 11 months, and 27 days old 190.197.46.227 (talk) 21:42, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
