Hiatus between New Beginning and Telling Stories

[edit]

Every time I try to reinsert the detail about the 5-year hiatus between New Beginning and Telling Stories it gets reverted, just because there’s “no source”. Really? All you have to do is look at the time period between the release of the two records to see. 76.104.229.144 (talk) 05:58, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the time period is original research. We need a source that actually calls it a hiatus. That's just how Wikipedia is. Graham87 (talk) 08:07, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In this edit summary, the link I added to my older edit summary went to the wrong place; it should've gone to this diff. Graham87 (talk) 15:03, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
“Bad content often stays here for a while”? So just because it was unsourced makes it bad content?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:602:77f:5a40:31d8:af94:2897:32f (talk) 04:21, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it basically does. Wikipedia:Citing sources is an important guideline here. Graham87 (talk) 07:02, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

She is not the first black person to have a solo comp go #1. Darius Rucker has had like 9 I think 199.91.129.12 (talk) 16:23, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The article text says she was the first black WOMAN to get this honor (emphasis is mine). NOLA1982 (talk) 16:58, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
