Conversion date of Notoro

The Date of the completion of the Conversion of Notoro into a seaplane tender is 1934 in this article. Depending on Donald A. Jordan: Chinas Trial by Fire. p. 46 it was used in in the bombing of Shanghai in late january and early february 1932. Damage and Grounding of Erimo

The article states that the Erimo was damaged by Dutch Submarine O-15. This was misattributed by the Japanese. O-15 was not in the Far East at the time, and is possibly a misidentification by the Japanese of K-XV. However, it is known now that USS S-39 struck the Erimo with 3 torpedoes, forcing her to ground to prevent sinking. S-39 is credited with the "sinking".

Dutchsubmairnes.com confirms O-15 was in European waters and transited to the US for refitting. The Japanese possibly confused the S-39 attack with the K-XV attack on Tsurumi Maru. Info on this attack is also given on Dutchsubmarines.com
